Mavic’s Speed Release system makes the use of thru axles faster, easier and safer. The special thru axle with quick release lever can remain in the hub during removal of the wheel. When working on the frame or wheel, accordingly one hand less is needed.

For tightening and loosening only 4 turns are necessary. An integrated torque limiter speeds up the assembly process and guarantees a consistent closing force for each wheel change. In addition, the patented indexing system ensures that the wheel does not fall out even if the clamping is open.

Only suitable for special frames and forks compatible with the Speed Release system.
