It also has extended rear coverage for full protection including the back of the head. And it has the MIPS brain protection system, which uses an integrated low-friction layer between the helmet shell and the liner. This allows the helmet to slide relative to the head in the case of a crash or impact, which can reduce the rotational energy and forces that are transferred to the brain.
