Inspired by the Ultimate XC, the focus has been on comfort and efficiency. To achieve this, stability on the pedal and grip have been optimized: The new Energy Grip sole is 40% more efficient than its predecessor on the previous Crossmax Elite. The Boa® Fit System L6 ensures that the upper shoe embraces your foot with a tight yet comfortable fit. Its micro-adjustment and quick release function are extra user-friendly. The high-end material used is a synthetic fabric that helps the shoe last and be comfortable on long rides. The rubber trim on the toe cap additionally increases the robustness. The outsole of the Crossmax Elite SL is based on a carbon / fiberglass composite material with superior stiffness and therefore better power transmission to the pedals and a superior stable stand on the bike. The new Energy Grip outsole has been noticeably improved over the previous model, see above: it shines with a particularly natural motion sequence on foot, thanks to the fully injected TPU material, the higher heel area as well as the revised running profile.
