Mavic Aksium Front Wheel Clincher

Entry level at Mavic doesn’t mean low end. This wheel provides top Mavic technologies. Straight pull spokes, solid rim with 17 mm internal width and easy serviceable cartridge bearings… At a very attractive price, the Aksium will make any bike better.

Features straight-pull spokes for added strength and stiffness, and lightweight rim for a lively ride quality. The rim is wider, which allows for increased air volume and a better fit for larger diameter tires (up to 32mm).
The hub is incredibly tough, delivering high mileage and long-lasting dependability. And the QRM bearings are the smoothest in the category. It all adds up to a wheel that delivers the high-quality ride that Mavic is known for.

(Qualité de Roulements Mavic) – Mavic only uses high quality sealed cartridge bearings. On QRM wheels, they feature double sealing (2RS or LLU) together with tight C3 internal clearance.
(Usiné Brut Control) – The braking surfaces are precisely CNC machined. Improves braking friction and eliminates shuddering when braking.
(Hammer Hardening) – Local strengthening of the rim in the area where the spokes exert the greatest stress. Improves rim’s life expectancy and resistance to micro cracking.

Use only on a road bike. Any other use (such as on a tandem, cyclo-cross bike, or off-road use…) is strongly inadvisable, is the sole responsibility of the user and voids the Mavic warranty.

Clean with a dry cloth or soap and water. Do not use pressurized water.
